Hey, I have a couple good chicken recipes- pàprikas, and Indian curry. Do you like spicy dishes? If so, I'll post them.

I will dial the spiciness right back down to mild but I would love your recipes. I love Indian food but I don't know how to cook it. I don't even know what pàprikas is so please enlighten me.

Ok so I wanna play too! Do I just make a separate post on my journal and then keep updating it? Oh and I see you're linking to the specific post on that recipe. Cool.

Note to self: Find Digital Camera!

sure...make it however you like. I'm making this my anchor post and will keep linking them to here just so it's easier to keep track of how many I've made. I have a few more for this year already but I just gotta write up the posts for them still. Digital cameras are so much fun. I came late to the game but now I take pictures of everything.

I'm in! Now I just need to post things, huh?

yes...give me ideas of things to try!

Now I just need time to cook!

What a great idea! I'm so in!

ooh good...I've seen some of your cooking so I'm looking forward to your food posts :)

It totally counts if you make up the recipe on the fly. Also, i'm plotting making the chicken stew.

Fair trade then since I'm planning to make your North African Chicken one of these days.

Neat idea! I may try this.

Go for it! Even if you don't hit 50, you'll still have a mindset of keeping an eye out for new recipes you might want to try. Makes reading cookbooks a lot of fun.

Came from your post in cooking! This is basically what my New Year's resolution was - to make a new recipe at least once a week. :) I am putting all of those in jennacancook. I hope you don't mind if I added you....

Cool. I'm always happy to read more recipes. Added both of your journals. (and your recipes one is jennaecancook .. small typo) :)

aw man...i feel left out! but then again, i haven't been posting much cooking stuff....I might do it anyway.

Even if I don't do all of them, I like setting the goals to give me something to try for. I have yet to run 1000 miles in a year or read 50 books in a year but it's sort of a yearly goal I have in the back of my mind. I might not hit the benchmarks but at least I end up running and reading more than I might have otherwise. Come cook with us! At the least you'll try out a couple of new recipes this year, right?

I heard about this from deltamiss and am wondering if it's too late for me to sign up?

Not too late at all...2006 is far from over and joining this is a way for me to look for new recipes that other people try :) Let me know if you list your recipes in a specific post or with a specific tag and I'll add it to the list above. (for example, my tag for this is "food2006" so I can easily find related entries)

Kind of belated, but I have decided to join in the fun. And to make up for my late entry, I decided my first post should just be pretty much every new recipe I've tried this month (minus one). It can be found here: http://blackblackrose.livejournal.com/tag/50new

Re: Slackard Latecomer

Welcome to the game! I added you to the list above in the post.

What a great idea. Must try this.
I've already tried at least 4.

You seem to always be trying new recipes anyhow :) I added you to the list in the post above.

Oh wow, I so want to play too!
